shoegaze

Hey everyone! The name's Cye and I just joined the forum (and hell, glad I did - I've learnt a lot already from my short time here) and I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been listening to shoegaze/dreampop (and britpop) for as long as I can remember but I have only recently begun to actually play it (guitar) and I was wondering if this is the right place to ask for pointers and such for how to use pedals, how to set certain sounds, etc. Thanks a bunch!

i'm sure you could get a lot of good advice in the hardware/software forum. i need to pick up the guitar one day too.

Greetings! All you need to sound like a shoegazer is a treble-y guitar, a Big Muff, a good analog delay, lots of reverb, and perhaps a rotovibe. Phasers help also. Joking...but only a little.
