Cheapo Rockwood/Hohner Les Paul copy (LG205 I think), going into a Korg A5 multi-effects slab, then into a Boss distortion/overdrive pedal, then into a Boss chorus. For maximum screaming (as if it needs it!) there's always the distortion channel on the amp (Rage 108 practise amp - still noisy as hell though). Nasty, dirty, squealy saturated feedbacky goodness Laughing

My neighbours probably hate me...

[added]

Oh yeah - recorded on a cheapo Cubase setup (500MHz P3/256Mb RAM/SB16) via a cheapo mike bought from Argos. Just got an iBook G4 and started messing with GarageBand though - looks like Cubase has had its day... Need to get an iMic to hook it all up though.

You'd mebbe notice that "cheapo" is the operative word. Works a treat though (to my MBV-bashed ears, at least).

I play Godin SD (vintage) and a 75 watt Line 6 amp, I have no effects 'cuz Im broke right now Im planning to buy of course I want a DOD distortion pedal, DOD equalizer and wah. My line 6 amp had already a built in tremolo, phaser, flange and chorus on it so theres no point of buying those effects.

I play a Washburn WR120, which isn't too great. (it came in a starter pack, and i dont enough to buy a new one). I have a Peavy Special 112 amp which is 160 watts. Ibanez distortion pedal, 606 Zoom, and i'm planning on making a Tremulus Lune pedal, soon hopefully.
I just record on my computer using Cakewalk Homestudio, it has plenty of effects too.
