New band members and new live dates

Engineers have announced a couple of line-up changes to the band. Mark Peters has moved from bass to guitar and has been replaced by Daniel Land on bass and Matthew Linley has joined on drums. In addition to this Ulrich Schnauss, who had previously played keyboards live with the band has joined as full time member.

Ulrich is a respected solo artist while Daniel also fronts Daniel Land and The Modern Painters and Matthew Linley has recorded under the name of Gilbert.

The new line-up will play their first gigs on Monday 8th March, with Sereena Maneesh at The Lexington, London, and on Thursday 18th March supporting Chapterhouse at Scala, London.

A new 2CD edition of Engineers self titled debut album will also be released on Kscope in May 2010.

Wow Daniel Land AND Ulrich are in the band now? Color me interested...

Holy Crapola!!!! This sounds extremely interesting!!!! I can't see them coming to Australia any time soon but I look forward to their next album even more now, wow!

And hearing their second album gets a 2CD treatment is just fantastic.

I expect it to be with 'Folly' + perhaps some of the rare mixes of 'Home'.
