im currently listening to Porcupine by echo & the bunnymen, its a cold sounding album that gives off a fantastic atmosphere, to me it sounds like it wasnt made on earth.
i think it would be good for others to say what they're listening to at the moment, why they like it & whats it like - open up some more interests & ideas for others.

Anyone?

Air Formation - Stay Inside, Feel Everything. Really want to light up a fat one when I hear this.

The Amusement Parks on Fire Album

A rough rehersal tape of a newish HoS song.

A Verve bootleg from 1992 at the Windsor Old Trout

A weird Porcupine Tree Bootleg from Poland which has just cut out...

Not listening to anything right now, but the last thing I listened to was Rushes by the Fireman, an ambient record by Paul McCartney and Youth (from Killing Joke). Hadn't heard it in a while so I decided to dig it out. It's not bad.

Loving your last entry there chap.

I have always been a big champion of the mighty Joke. Nearly picked up their 'Ha' ep/cd yesterday, I've still got the original Toronto vinyll but the temptation was still there.

A band that definately never got the creative credit they deserved.

While there aren't too many people that have liked the other groups Martin Atkins and Jah Wobble has/have been in associated with (Rx, Damage Manual, etc.),Killing Joke were very influential to alot of punk, goth, and ebm bands.I agree with them not getting enough credit. Smile

Had the Sennen album on a short while ago. Now, I'm getting towards the end of the We Are Scientists album .... then I'll do lunch .... and then I'll have time for one more CD before I have to hit the road to go to Audioscope '05 in Oxford.

Swervedriver - 'Juggernaut Rides'

I also like Killing Joke but I've liked the spin off bands such as Murder Inc and Damage Manual as well.
