Has anyone else come across this lot? I really liked their first effort 'When Do We Start Fighting', which was a desperate to please heady mix of sharp indie guitar thrash (complete with shouty vocals) coupled with the almost ubiquitous melodic counter-balances.
Their second effort 'As The Cry Flows' is a much more rounded and mature effort that has dropped the shouty in your face indie posturing for a more melodic and tuneful approach (with even the odd Mojave 3 style moment thrown in for good measure). |

when do we start fighting was not seafoods first album but actually the 2nd album. Surviving the quiet is the first Seafood LP and before that they released 3 singles which later merged to become a mini album. I used to worship seafood when they first came about but ever since they wrote the songs for when do we start fighting they have become utter rubbish!
you wanna listen to the first singles and the first album, Dave Line( the singer / guitarist) is a massive Ride fan too! |
