'lo squire,

I am also new round these parts. Any self respecting FX rig will have at least two distortions, preferably three...

I am in London post-rock / shoegaze freebie gives Time. Space. Repeat. and also sing, despite not really having a very good voice. There's a lot to be said for it!

I agree on the distortion - While it's my dream to have a distortion for every occasion, I understand that may become quite unwieldy (I would like to be able to fit my pedalboard in the back of a van

)! I'm probably going to plump for two different distortion options and an EQ pedal set to push my wee valve head over the breakup point for the sexy overdriven tone. Plus the mandatory delay, chorus (I actually find the Boss CEB-3 surprisingly nice for guitar, when dialled in right... nice and deep chorus, the way I like it), phase etc options. I plan on running all that with a Telecaster fitted with a Bigsby... a bit of an unorthodox choice for this avenue of music, I've gathered.

Hi, this is my first message on this board. I am 32 and I am from France. I discovered shoegaze (and indie music) by listening to Doppelganger by Curve in 1992, while visiting the USA.
Well, I didn't know what shoegaze was at the time...

I am a fan of MBV, Slowdive, Curve, Skywave, Auburn Lull, some space rock bands also.

I am officially in several bands, although none of them are currently in activity. :lol:

I'd like to form a new band by the way!!
