I adore that "On Fire" Galalxie 500 cover and The Cure covers are not always great, but I think most of them have a feverish hot look to them, which I think is fitting. What could be wrong with 17seconds, Faith, Pornography and Head on the Door? Disintegration is some of the prettiest cover art I've ever saw, visually it feels very close to the music, especially "Pictures of You". I love the Join the Dots cover too.

But I agree about 3 imaginary boys.

We have all seen this in an avatar (Kestrels). This by far is my all time favorite music and album art. An album on each side of the brain, the world, and a tear with peace in mind (dove). I discovered the Chameleons in the 80's simply by this album cover in a record store. I bought the album only by the art work and their name - Their name sounded like a name of a band I would like. This album cover pretty much represents the mood of post punk at the time. I have been listening to this for more than 25 years and it still sounds good.
